Common questions

Why don't I see the same dogs as the rest of my family?

Make sure everyone has accepted the share invite from the Share button in the app, and that everyone is running the current version. It can take a moment for a new dog or event to sync after it's logged.

Why aren't reminders showing up?

Open Settings in the app and confirm "Remind me on this device" is turned on, and that Barkeeping has notification permission in the iOS Settings app. Reminders, the widget, and Live Activities are all per-device, so this needs to be turned on separately on each device you want to hear from.

Why is the Home Screen widget blank?

The widget needs the app to have been opened at least once so it has data to show. If it's still blank after that, removing and re-adding the widget usually resolves it.
